SCA Alumni Testimonials

Thank you SCA teachers for showing God’s love to me. I attended SCA my junior and senior years as an F-1 student. I am very blessed to have so many wonderful teachers in my life, especially for preparing me academically for post-high school college work.

- Huong, N. (2019)

I am so thankful for my family, SCA friends, and more importantly teachers for supporting me throughout my high school years. I am grateful for them as without them I would not be the person I am today.

- Daniel, C. (2019)

I have been home-schooled since 6th grade and did online public schooling from 8th through 11th grade. SCA academic standards are set high so getting used to them was a bit tough, but it was worth it! At SCA, I have learned some valuable things from my honorable teachers and was guided towards the right direction for my future ahead. I don't have enough words to thank Mr. Evans for a great opportunity to learn and grow, and especially spiritually.

- Angela S. (2018)

When I first started SCA, I didn't know what to expect. But as time went on, I realized what kind of school this really is. I realized that the teachers do care about their students' academic and spiritual growth. Hearing God's word each day helped me grow spiritually. I will always remember SCA.

- Alexey G. (2017)

While one can say that two years at SCA is not enough in order to see changes in oneself, yet I think it is enough. Looking at these past two years, I am in awe of what God had done in my life through SCA. At SCA each of my teachers showed a godly example to me; through them, I have seen Christ’s grace, His sacrificial love, and His caring character. I bless each of my lovely teachers and wish them the very best in the years to come. The most common life lessons I have learned from attending SCA were to not procrastinate and to be honest at all times. In fact, the only time one can see his true character is when nobody looks. So far, SCA not only refined my skills but also helped me grow spiritually.

- Katie S. (2016)

I am very thankful that I had the privilege to attend Summit Christian Academy for the past 2.5 years as an F-1 student. This wonderful school had a great impact on my life! I remember my first day at SCA and the love that I felt when I first walked into my high school class. SCA teaches us not only subjects but life lessons!

- Alisa S. (2016)

I have attended SCA for five years. I believe that all these beautiful memories made at this school will remain in my heart forever. Each teacher and student made this an unforgettable chapter in my life. Through SCA, God made me who I am today. This school became my home and my teachers and my peers became my family. My time here was very short, but it was very sweet.

- Vlad K. (2016)

SCA prepared me well for the influence of this world! With God’s help, I'm able to share Christ with my college classmates through my words and actions. SCA will always be my home! It's a great place to be and I thank God, my parents, and SCA’s administration for the opportunity to be part of the SCA family. It is a privilege! I would like to thank Mr. Evans for spending time with us daily in learning God’s word. Thank you for praying with us and about us. Attending college today, I feel the power of teachers’ prayers. Thank you, and may God bless you for all your hard work.

- Regina S. (2015)

Summit Christian Academy definitely helped me grow spiritually, but it also equipped me for basic things like writing a five-page essay in college. There's no way I would be able to do that without the preparation that I had at SCA. I would like to thank all of our teachers; every one of them cared about students. We definitely did some things that could drive someone crazy, but not one teacher actually gave upon us. They believed in us until the end, and I think that's pretty awesome! Thank you.

- Daniil K. (2015)

Since my graduation from Summit Christian Academy, I enrolled at Eastern Washington University. If I did not switch to SCA five years ago, I am scared to say where I'd be right now – definitely not attending this university and having a job that I love. Despite all the tests and homework and the late-night studying, I miss SCA every day. The friendships that I found and the experiences that I had there are invaluable. SCA changed me to prepare me for adult life. I can’t imagine what my life would have been like, had my parents not made the decision to switch me to SCA. Every single teacher and staff member is still on my mind every day. I will forever owe them for everything that they have done for me. Thank you!

- Vitaliy P. (2015)

Coming from a public school to a Christian academy, I honestly never knew it would be such an amazing change for me! I was at Summit Christian Academy from 9th to 12th grade! Children, if your parents are asking you if you want to go to this school, please say yes you won't regret it! Parents, if your children are telling you to not send them to this school, still do! This is the only school attended that went from a regular to school to become a large family!

- Pete N. (2015)

SCA definitely prepared me for my education at university and at work. Working at an online school as Progress Department Manager has required many of the skills I learned at SCA. Writing has been a very important one. In addition, problem-solving, analyzing and critical thinking have helped me be successful in a lot of the work I do at my job. Even though I was saved after high school, SCA did still have a great impact on me. I was much more prepared for growing in Christ because of the teaching I received. I will never forget some of the advice Mr. Evans gave me throughout high school. A lot of what he said, I did not understand at the time but has greatly impacted me after I was saved. One thing in particular that I remember him talking to us about is his relationship with God: the way he prays and the way God works in his life. Him sharing his passion for the Lord has been an example to me that has encouraged me to be passionate for God many times.

- Andrey K. (2013)

Currently, I am finishing my last prerequisites before applying to Diagnostic Medical Sonography. My senior year at SCA I took Chemistry, which allowed me to do well and have a strong foundation in college science classes. SCA also taught me how to approach my studies seriously and study to gain knowledge, not just for the grade. Mr. Evans taught several classes including English. I was prepared exceptionally well for all my English classes and any other courses that required lengthy papers. Bible class helped me form a stronger foundation, and even today I find myself reflecting on lessons taught during high school and still do my best to read my Bible. The teachers were great examples of Godly men and women that had a positive influence on the entire student body. I learned to be a team player, and that is extremely valuable in the workforce and in everyday life. I’m very grateful for the friends I made there. I want to thank Mr. Evans for taking the time to educate us and teach us how to live Godly lives. Many lessons that he shared from his personal life, and the advice he gave, still sticks with me. Also, I would like to thank Ms. Smith for being a great example and mentor to many high school girls!
